Project: TroFCCA was a four year project of the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and the Tropical Agriculture Center for Research and Higher Education (CATIE) to contribute to the understanding of adaptation to climate change within tropical forest ecosystems. Through the development of specific methods to assess vulnerability, the project aimed to mainstreaming adaptation to climate change in development projects. TroFCCA worked in three regions and seven countries (In Asia: Indonesia. In West Africa: Burkina Faso, Ghana and Mali. In Central America: Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica).
Focus: Vulnerability assessment of forest-dependent communities. Studies of impact of climate change on forest ecosystem services
