Overview

This advanced project is an “action research” initiative aimed at better understanding the factors and processes that influence the success of fodder innovations in rural areas of developing countries in which livestock are important components of the livelihood strategies of poor people. This understanding will be used to design effective ways to facilitate the access to and use of fodder technologies in pilot learning sites representative of large population domains in crop-livestock systems located in Ethiopia, Syria, and Vietnam.
