These are the four main objectives of this project:

Establish functional partnerships and innovation platforms to identify and resolve problems related to Striga management in maize-legume based production systems.
Use new tools to generate new knowledge to increase the current understanding of the biology and control of Striga.
Deploy and disseminate integrated Striga management technologies in maize-legume based systems.
Enhance community, local government and national government capacity to participate in the generation, testing and dissemination of improved Striga management practices.
