Overview

These are the four main objectives of this project:

  • Establish functional partnerships and innovation platforms to identify and resolve problems related to Striga management in maize-legume based production systems.
  • Use new tools to generate new knowledge to increase the current understanding of the biology and control of Striga.
  • Deploy and disseminate integrated Striga management technologies in maize-legume based systems.
  • Enhance community, local government and national government capacity to participate in the generation, testing and dissemination of improved Striga management practices.
