Overview

In collaboration with Fontagro, the Regional Fund for Agricultural Technology, we aim to strengthen banana and plantain value chains in Latin American and the Caribbean by using crop biomass to produce bioethanol. This is achieved through the development and implementation of a decentralized production system of bioethanol micro-plants, and the introduction of new technologies which take into consideration productivity optimization, cost reduction, and environmental conservation.
